America’s most powerful, elite institutions now cooperate to misinform the public and suppress dissent. One of the best examples of this suppression of the truth has been the media’s response to the FBI’s possession of Hunter Biden’s laptop. At the time the New York Post broke the Biden laptop story, Twitter outright prevented people from posting about it on the website and Facebook used its internal algorithm to prevent people from seeing it.
15 establishment media personalities claimed Hunter’s laptop emails were likely Russian propaganda.
51 intelligence officials signed on to a letter in the fall of 2020 falsely claiming that the story about Hunter Biden’s laptop was part of a Russian disinformation operation. (Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) introduced legislation on Tuesday to bar security clearances to those who made the false claim. Rep. Gaetz also entered files from the laptop into the Congressional Record during a House Judiciary Committee hearing Tuesday.)
What’s on the Laptop and How Does It Relate to Investigations?
Hunter Biden has been under investigation regarding money laundering, tax and foreign lobbying laws, as well as firearm violations, led by the US Attorney in Wilmington, Delaware, as early as 2018. Information on the laptop could be relevant and significant to these investigations.
Concerns have been raised surrounding emails focusing on Hunter’s appointment to the board of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma where he was paid as much as $50,000 a month, from 2014 to 2019, while Joe Biden was Vice-President. The appointment, along with the substantial salary, raised questions due to Hunter having no experience in the fuel industry and no prior business dealings in the Ukraine. Hunter had also recently been discharged from the U.S. Navy Reserve after testing positive for cocaine a month after being assigned as a public affairs officer in a reserve unit based in Norfolk, Virginia
Timeline on Paying for Access
Hunter Biden, in a lengthy memo to his then-business partner, Devon Archer, who already sat on the Burisma board, discussed leveraging his connection to his father in a bid to boost his pay on the Burisma Board. Hunter Biden became a board member of Burisma Holdings in 2014, soon after President Barack Obama placed Joe Biden in charge of managing U.S. relations with Ukraine.
An email dated May 12, 2014, shortly after Hunter Biden joined the Burisma board, shows Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to the board of Burisma and Burisma’s #3 man, asking Hunter for “advice on how you could use your influence” on the company’s behalf.
A never-before-revealed meeting with the Vice President is mentioned in a message of appreciation that Pozharskyi allegedly sent Hunter Biden on April 17, 2015, about a year after Hunter joined the Burisma board.
Hunter Biden has told associates he paid outstanding tax bills, and public records show more than $450,000 in state liens in Washington, DC, were lifted in 2020, indicating those liabilities were likely paid off. But those payments haven’t resolved his legal issues since investigators are still examining the source of funds to pay the tax bills.
The White House has acknowledged it played a role in setting up a legal process to shield the identity of buyers of Hunter Biden art pieces, for the stated purpose of ensuring that no one could curry favor with the President by buying his son’s art. But critics noted that art sales and anonymity of buyers have long raised concerns about money laundering.
Connections to China
Some verified emails involved a deal Hunter pursued with the CEFC China Energy conglomerate for which he was paid nearly $5 million, according to the Washington Post. CEFC China Energy is a Chinese government-linked company whose since-imprisoned energy tycoon leader Ye Jianming was linked to the Chinese military. In August 2017, CEFC Infrastructure Investment wired $5 million to the bank account for Hudson West III, which was linked to Hunter Biden.
A newly public bank record of a direct payment of $100,000 displays an August 2017 wire transfer from CEFC through Wells Fargo Clearing Services that stated “further credit to Owasco” — a Hunter Biden firm.
Democrats and their media allies have repeatedly said that disinformation is the greatest threat to democracy.
Then they engaged in disinformation with the Steele dossier, falsely accusing Trump of Russian collusion. (Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee have since agreed to pay $113,000 to settle a Federal Election Commission investigation into whether they violated campaign finance law by misreporting spending on research that eventually became the infamous Steele dossier.)
Next the media engaged in disinformation with Hunter Biden’s laptop.
By their own definition, the media and Democrats are a great threat to democracy.
Continue to pray that corruption will be exposed and truth prevail.
